Our Beginner Yoga course is the perfect introduction to the world of yoga suitable for anyone and any body. Beginner yoga classes are taught in a very gentle way encouraging new students to feel confident and relaxed. The course focuses on the history and philosophy of yoga, breathing, meditation and alignment. During the course you will be introduced to the main principles and techniques to practice safe, healthy and holistic yoga. You will explore variety of yoga postures as well as learning essential breathing practices and relaxation. This course is fantastic for complete beginner students as well as for regular students who prefer to practice gentle yoga sequences.
Anyone can practice yoga, if they have the right attitude, and/or the right teacher. Use of yoga props in our classes will make yoga poses (asanas) accessible to everyone. These classes are also suitable for pre-natal and post-natal students, who are guided and adjusted accordingly to their level of flexibility and fitness.
Classes at Hridaya Yoga Academy are taught from the heart in a relaxed and caring manner where the needs of every student are paramount. Hridaya Yoga Academy provides a safe, non-judgmental environment for the students to explore their body and mind to whatever extent they choose.
* We believe that benefits of yoga are only obtained by committing to a consistent, regular practice. Therefore, we encourage our students to own/purchase a yoga pass. Our yoga passes are designed to be cost-effective and sustainable for our yoga students. If you however prefer to purchase a casual drop-in class then the fee is $20 per casual class.

The most beautiful thing in life is that the change is inevitable. It allows us to develop and grow. If you are unable to attend our classes for a period of time, you will not lose your pass. The pass will remain valid for a period of 12 months.

If you have any additional yoga questions, you can approach your teacher anytime during the program. When purchasing your yoga pass, we ask you to stay committed to your decision. Once your booking is processed and payment received, the class pass is non-refundable, non-transferrable.
